1. How much does an Argo consultation cost? 

$450 for a 30 minute standard consultation; $750 for a 1 hour consultation
for complicated cases, prior refusals and some visa types. 

2. How long is the consultation? 

30 minutes for a standard consultation, and 1 hour for complicated cases,
prior refusals and some complex visa types

3. Can my spouse, parent, child, etc. attend the consultation with me? 

Our system is built for one-on-one consultations. If the person you want
to attend your consultation is in the same room as you, they can attend.  

4. Will my consultant speak my native language? 

Yes. We have officers who speak 14 different languages.
Our language options are are English, French, Estonian, Cantonese,
Mandarin Chinese, German, Gujurati, Hindi, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, and Spanish. 

5. What type of payment do you take? 

You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Alipay. 

6. Can I get a refund if I don’t get my visa? 

No. Visas can’t be guaranteed! Argo does not guarantee you will get a visa,
but by using our services, you will have a much better chance of getting your visa.

7. Do you record the consultation? 

We keep records of our consultations to ensure the quality of our service and
for internal training purposes.  None of the information provided during a consultation
with our officers is ever shared with any outside parties.

8. Can I contact my Officer after the consultation? 

If you have any questions following your consultation, please contact us
at hello@argovisa.com , and a visa expert will be happy to assist you.

9. How do I get matched with the Officer for my consultation?
 
Our system takes several factors into consideration when matching you with an ex-Visa Officer.
These factors include: Visa Type, Country, Language, and Officer rating, schedule.
You will be matched with the ex-visa officer who is best suited for your case.

10. What do I do if I need to change my consultation time? 

Contact us as soon as possible at support@argovisa.com
if you need to change your consultation date or time.

11. Can I do an additional consultation with the same Officer?

Yes! Email us at support@argovisa.com if you would like to book
an additional consultation and request the same officer.

12. What should I prepare before the consultation? 

Complete our pre-consultation questionnaire so that your visa officer can review the details of your
case.  This will save time so that you can maximize the value of your consultation with your officer.

13. Will the Officer see my face during the consultation?
 
The consultation is conducted through our video conferencing platform.  It is important
that the visa officer see your face, because the visa interview is a comprehensive interview. 
Your body language and facial expressions can have an effect on whether or not your visa is approved.

14. Will my officer have experience doing visas in my home country?

a) They may have experience in your home country. We have officers who have served in more than 35
countries, so there is a good chance one of our officers has worked at the embassy or consulate where
you will be applying.  We will assign you an officer whose experience is the most relevant to your situation.

b) All of our officers have gone through the same Consular General training to become a visa officer.
Each consulate’s visa section operates on the same principles, and visa officers are moved around from
country to country every few years. So even if Argo does not have an officer with experience in your
particular country, our officers will still be able to provide you with a great deal of valuable information
for your visa interview. 

15. Can you guarantee that I’ll get a visa?

No, we cannot guarantee you will get your visa.  And neither can anyone else.  There is also the possibility
that you could get refused, because every visa officer at the consulate has the full authority to make
their own decision on your visa. What we can give you is the most authoritative, accurate information
about the visa process, and we can maximize your chances of getting a visa more than anyone else.

16. Can you help me fill out the DS-160 or other forms?

We can’t help you fill out the form, but we can answer any questions you
may have about how to fill in certain fields.

17. What is the difference between Argo and other visa agents?

Argo consultants are all ex-Visa Officers.  That means that we worked in the U.S. embassies and
consulates around the world making decisions on visa applications.  We know the regulations,
the procedures, and the criteria that visa officers use to make their decisions. 
With Argo, you can trust that you have been given the most accurate, authoritative advice available.

18. Can you help me schedule my visa interview or pay my visa interview fee?

Argo is a specialized service to help you prepare for your visa interview. 
We cannot pay your visa interview fee or schedule your visa interview for you.

19. The refusal rate in my country is low.  Do I need Argo?

The majority of visa applicants around the world have their visas approved, but there are always
exceptions.  Many times, those who have had their visas refused have no idea why. 
Even if you think you shouldn’t have any trouble getting your visa, we can provide you with
the peace of mind that your case has been reviewed by an ex-Visa Officer,
and you will be the best prepared you can be.
